Dr. Michael Schildcrout

Dr. Michael Schildcrout received his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Pittsburgh in 1975. From 1975 to 1997 he worked at the Eastern Standards Laboratory in Washington DC. From 1977 to 1979 he worked as an analyst at the Naval Intelligence Support Center's Electromagnetic Systems Department. He joined the Naval Security Group in 1979 and has worked there ever since. Presently he is Senior Technical Advisor for the Naval Information Vulnerability Assessment Program (NIVAP). As such, he has responsibility for wireless and computer network vulnerability assessments of Information Technology (IT) systems as they emerge into the U.S. Navy.
