Lt Vincent J. Stephens, USN

Born in Rapid City, South Dakota. LT Stephens enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1981. Upon completion of basic training he attended and completed Radioman "A" school. As a Radioman, his assignments have included NTCC Miramar, CA, USS Vancouver (LPD-2), NCTAMS WESTPAC, Guam, NTCC Oakland, CA, USS Tarawa (LHA-1), USS Kinkaid (DD-965), and USCNCPAC (J62), Honolulu, HI.

Shortly after arriving at USCINCPAC in 1995, LT Stephens was selected for commissioning under the Navy's Limited Duty Officer Program. Upon his commissioning, LT Stephens was assigned to Naval Space Command, Dahlgren, VA. He has also served as the Radio Officer in USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD-6) and is currently assigned as the Information Assurance Action Officer at the Joint Interoperability Test Command, Indian Head, MD.

He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, from Columbia College, where he graduated with honors in 1990.

LT Stephens is married to the former Jayna Davis of Rapid City, South Dakota. They have three daughters, ages 13, 11 and 6.
